Making play dough is an awesome activity that is easy to do. In addition to this, it also has many benefits. As children build and shape different designs, they're developing a host of different fine motor skills, including muscle strength and hand coordination. As they're making and molding the play dough, you can also use this as an opportunity to practice shapes and colors with them. With only a few ingredients, your children can get as creative as they want!
Things You Will Need:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups salt
- measuring cups
Step One: Measure 2 cups flour and pour into the bowl.
Step Two: Measure 1 cup of water and add food coloring of your choice.
Step Three: Pour water into the bowl of flour.
Step Four: Measure 2 cups of salt and pour it into the flour and water mixture.
Step Five: Mix together.
After mixture begins to thicken, you will need to kneed the dough.
Step Six: Enjoy the play dough!
You can make multiple batches of different colors to mix and match!
